Ford Focus RS video (from WORLD CAR FANS)
Now that Ford has shown the production version of the Focus RS, the company has released a video showing the new hot hatch in all its glory.
Power comes from a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine which produces 296bhp and 440 Nm of torque, allowing the RS to reach 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in just 5.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 155 mph. In order to reign in all that potential torque steer Ford equipped the new model with a sophisticated front suspension dubbed RevoKnuckle. Other updates include a Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing limited-slip differential, a lowered ride height, and bigger brakes.
The exterior has all the traditional hot hatch design features such as a black grille, hood vents, a rear spoiler and diffuser, dual exhaust, and 19-inch wheels. Interior accommodations are also upgraded thanks to sporty Recaro seats with body-color accents, carbon fiber trim on the center console, and an aluminum gearshift.
UK pricing will start at under £25,000 and deliveries are scheduled to begin March.
