Custom spoilers – things to know. In many cases, you like the looks of a rear spoiler for your car, but the factory spoiler design is not quite what you are looking for. A custom spoiler can give you the styling variation you are looking for. It may be lighted or unlighted, depending on the individual product. Custom spoilers are made of the same materials and with the same quality as the factory style spoilers, but are designed to fit on multiple applications. Sometimes, a car spoiler that is factory style on one vehicle may fit on completely different cars as a custom application.

Because the spoiler fits on multiple applications, you may see a small space between the lines of the mounting pedestals and the trunk lid when you first set the spoiler on it. Each custom car spoiler application has been tested by the manufacturer to be within the tolerance allowed for a quality seal. Errors can always creep into a catalog.
