Razzi Ground Effects
- RAZZI front and rear air dams are not bumper replacements. All are designed to fit onto the original stock factory bumper fascia.
- A typical RAZZI Ground Effects Package for a car will have four pieces: a Front Air Dam, two Side Skirts, and a Rear Air Dam. Some packages will include additional parts such as Door Panels. A typical Truck package will have seven pieces: Front Air Dam, two Cab Skirts, two Bed Skirts, and a two-piece Rear Skirt.
- Some truck body kits will have an optional Rear Roll Pan. If this is to be installed, the original rear bumper on the truck must be removed. RAZZI refers to this as a "3 piece full wrap rear". Always check your state law - some states make removal of the rear bumper illegal. Razzi also manufactures Rear Roll Pans for some models, but these are generally used alone and not with a Ground Effects Package.
- The RAZZI design typically makes the customized vehicle look lower than it actually is. Most RAZZI Ground Effects change the ground clearance by one inch or less.
- All body kits by RAZZI Ground Effects come with mounting hardware and instructions. A typical mounting hardware package includes all necessary screws and a tube of adhesive caulk. Most packages include double-sided tape which is used to hold the parts on the vehicle while the adhesive caulk cures (it takes 24 hours to cure properly).
- It is possible to install the Ground Effects package by yourself, but its much easier if two people work together. All Front and Rear Air Dams are designed to fit from wheel well to wheel well preventing seams, as well as providing excellent fit and design continuity. These large pieces are difficult for one person to handle, especially after they have been painted.
- If you have never done it before, a typical body kit by RAZZI should take approximately three hours to install for a car and six hours for a truck. Experienced installers take about an hour for a car and two for a truck.
- Exhaust turndowns or extensions must be used to re-direct the heat coming out of the tail pipe away from the Rear Air Dam and all RAZZI parts. If you are installing a custom exhaust before installing the Ground Effects, make sure it lines up with the design of the Rear Air Dam.
